Lids close securely. Bowls are sturdy and stackable.Perfect for my lunch salad!Lids are hard to stay on but the bowls are durable. We used tape to secure lids while transportingOnly issue is that the lids are hard to take offAlthough the lids fit tightly which is a plus, it is difficult to remove the lids. I tested it before putting any food in it. I can use the bowls without the lids. However, I cannot use these to for salads to pack lunch with the rate of difficulty it takes to remove the lids without salad flying everywhere.The top is hard to put on.Exactly what I wanted, just a lil smell but everything else was ok!The kids at least are NOT dishwasher safe. The bowls held up ok, but the lids are now all warped.
